The Festival Foods Turkey Trot benefits the Boys & Girls Club and YMCA in communities Festival Foods serves. Both of those organizations provide volunteers in return for monetary proceeds. In the past 11 years, the Festival Foods Turkey Trot has donated more than $2,560,000!
Waldan has participated several years at this event to help raise funds in our communities.
Every three-five mile Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, and raise awareness about steps we can take to reduce the risk of getting breast cancer. Our Waldan team helped raise money for this charity and walked in the event.
Hunger doesn’t discriminate. It knows no age, race or sex. It’s both an urban and a rural issue. Together, with our network of more than 600 members, we’re solving hunger in eastern Wisconsin. Waldan participates often with whatever is needed to repackage food for needy families in our communities.
Old Glory Honor Flight is dedicated to transporting our local WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans to Washington, D.C. to see the memorials built in their honor.
Several of our team members welcome home our veterans when they arrive at the airport for their trips to Washington, D.C. It’s always a very moving.
The mission of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is to honor and remember America’s fallen fire heroes, to provide resources to assist their families in rebuilding their lives and work within the fire service community to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries.
Our team participated in the 9-1-1 Stairclimb at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve All toys collected for Winnebago County stay in Winnebago County. Collection Coordinator - Winnegamie Home Builders Assocation.
Waldan raises funds through out the year to buy toys at Christmas time for the Toys for Tots program in our communities.
Day by Day Warming Shelter collaboratively provides temporary shelter, individualized services, and opportunities for self-sufficiency to empower the
most vulnerable adults in our community. Our team serves meals at the shelter on a regular basis.
